LS Out in Force: Our Team’s EPS Highlights
The LS Events Team were out in force at The Event Production Show (EPS). What a line-up of inspiration and industry collaboration! For some of our team, it was their first experience of the show while others stepped up their industry visibility by appearing on panels across the 2-days. We wanted to know their EPS highlights, here’s what they had to say.
"It was great to be part of a panel discussion alongside other large agencies and industry players. I’m sure we could have talked all day. My specific panel was a Question Time style, and I loved the breadth of topics which were presented by the audience. I found it fascinating that so many of the questions from the audience were focused on tenders and pitches - an organisation’s ability to respond to pitches is clearly something that limits the growth of agencies and freelancers and an area of love to unpick in future discussions." Ian Nolan, LS Events Projects Director,
"The highlight for me was speaking with Nimbus. We gained insight into streamlining the accessible customer ticketing journey and discussed staff training; both could improve our onsite service." Duschan Nembhard, LS Events Projects and Events Coordinator
"For me, EPS offers a valuable moment in the calendar to step back and engage with the wider industry. It’s a chance to hear insightful panel discussions from respected peers and experts, exchange ideas ahead of the season with trusted suppliers, and explore new partnerships. Just as importantly, it provides a vibrant setting to connect with colleagues and uncover emerging talent shaping the future of the industry." Suzanne Johnson, LS Events Senior Site Manager
"EPS was a hugely positive experience for networking and listening to industry experts, I loved hearing Grace Noest speak on her Main Stage panel. But the biggest highlight was collecting my 30 Under 30 award alongside Harry Walthew. A pivotal career moment for us both and something to feel really proud of." Eve Paterson, LS Events Site Operations Coordinator
