LS EVENTS DEFINITIONS

ACCIDENT:
An occurrence resulting in personal injury or illness to a person.

INCIDENT:
An instance of something happening, an unexpected event or occurrence that doesn’t result in serious injury or illness but may result in property damage.

NEAR MISS/HAZARD:
An event or unsafe condition with the potential to cause harm/damage, but where no actual harm occurred.

INFORMATION SECURITY INCIDENT:
An event compromising the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of data/IT systems.

BULLYING AND HARASSMENT

Any unwanted, offensive, intimidating, or malicious behaviour that violates dignity or creates a hostile environment.

WHISTLEBLOWING
