Pride in London: The Power of "Volunqueer"

🌈 Behind every great event is a great team and at Pride in London, that team includes a passionate and extensive volunteer network.

As LS Events prepares to deliver the iconic Pride in London event for the second year running as the appointed Event Production agency, we recently hosted a collaborative table top day with the Pride in London team.

A pivotal part of the planning this day brought together both dedicated full-time staff and over 40 volunteers that lead a wider network of nearly 1000 volunteers that support the delivery of Pride on the ground.

This session was more than a logistics review. It was a shared moment to align, learn, and plan as one team working hand-in-hand to understand the scale, energy, and heart behind one of the capital’s most iconic celebrations.

From the Parade to Trafalgar Square’s concert, Soho Square's trans and non binary stage, Leicester Square's LGBTQI+ Women’s Stage, and the Family Area, every part of this event is shaped by people who give their time, insight, and love to make Pride happen.

This year’s theme, ‘Volunqueer’, recognises and reframes queer volunteering as an empowering cultural force and we couldn’t agree more. LS Events is proud to stand and work alongside those driving this movement forward.
