With a busy year of events ahead, the LS Events team has spent the week in IOSH mode.

Even the most experienced event managers know that safety is an ever-evolving landscape. Taking the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course isn’t just a box-ticking exercise—it’s a crucial way to stay up to date with the latest health & safety regulations, risk management strategies, and best practices in the events industry. Shout out to our Co-CEO’s Steve Reynolds and David Grindle who were in the 1-day refresher crew!

Meanwhile, a 13-strong cohort was immersed in the 3-day IOSH Managing Safely training to ensure they’re equipped to identify risks, prevent accidents, and keep our crew, clients, and audiences safe.

IOSH Managing Safely is a globally recognised certification designed to give managers and supervisors the knowledge and confidence to handle health and safety responsibilities effectively. Covering risk assessment, legal compliance, and hazard control, it ensures we’re making the right calls on-site—protecting people and delivering event excellence.
