This is Oxford Street 🏙️

We're incredibly proud to have delivered the inaugural This is Oxford Street event on September 21st! This landmark, free event—brought to life on behalf of the Greater London Authority — was a bold proof of concept for the future of London's most iconic street.

Following the Mayor’s June 2025 announcement to pedestrianise Oxford Street, our mission was to celebrate this vision. From 12:00 to 20:00, we transformed nearly 1km of Oxford Street into a vibrant street party—a people-first destination packed with entertainment, brand activations, and live performances.

As the appointed event delivery partner for the GLA, LS Events leveraged our extensive experience in central London to bring this celebration to life. Beyond our traditional project management role, we also delivered a wide range of services, including:

- Branding & Marketing: We developed the event's branding and designed all marketing and print materials.

- Partnership & Commercial Management: Our team secured partnerships and managed commercial operations. We were thrilled to work with global brands like H&M, The Body Shop, Holland & Barrett, Pimentae Drinks, schuh, Under Armour, and the National Basketball Association (NBA) to bring activations to the street.

- Engagement: We handled all business and resident engagement to ensure a smooth and successful day.

- Programming: We curated the live stage and non-stage entertainment, which featured an incredible lineup of music, food, pop-ups, and live entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Highlights included an urban forest, sports pitches, and a children's literary festival alongside the legendary DJ Annie Mac closing out the event on the main stage.
