LS Events Welcomes Josh Dawkins: Integrating Safety with the Guest Journey
Brilliant to see our new Safety, Security & Service Manager, Josh Dawkins, attending the PSN Venue Operations Summit alongside LS Events Commercial Manager Phil Rogers.
Stepping into the role, Josh is already bringing a clear vision, placing safety and security at the core of every decision, while ensuring guest experience remains front and centre. His focus on centralising processes and empowering project teams aligns closely with some of the summit’s key discussions, where evolving risks are increasingly shaping how venues plan and operate.
Reflecting on the day, Phil Rogers highlighted just how rapidly the landscape is changing: “Really interesting to learn about AI risks and threats and hear how organisations might try to rethink stadium security in the drone era.”
Those insights land directly in Josh’s remit, as he looks to help teams not only navigate these challenges but reframe them as opportunities to enhance both safety and the overall guest journey.
Josh Dawkins added; “It was a great opportunity to connect with others in the field and hear their take on the evolving threats we’re facing in the industry. A brilliant day of panels, I particularly enjoyed the session on Euro 2028 and gaining deeper understanding around the key risks and operational challenges anticipated ahead of the tournament.”
