Steve Reynolds

Co-CEO

First Gig:
Paul Weller at the Sands Centre, Carlisle 1998 (Noel Gallagher stole the show as the support)

Proudest moment of your event career so far:
Working as the Operations Director to launch All Points East in 2018 in Victoria Park. I’d worked there since 2011 on various shows, and it was a great experience to lead the delivery team on this new show. The show was so well received by fans, artists, press and the local community.

Favourite event you’ve worked on:
Tour de France 2014, it was so vast, 5000 staff across 150 miles of event route. Immense amount of planning, training and briefing as once the event was live it was up to the Manager on the ground to deliver in their areas. Extremely high pressure, but rewarding that the level of planning was proven to be worth it. Something I still believe to this day.

Steve has over 15 years experience in the Event’s industry. Originating from a crowd management background, Steve was appointed Regional Manager (South) of Showsec in 2010, leading on events such as the Queens Diamond Jubilee, Hyde Park Summer Series (2006 – 2012), the Papal visit (2010), Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (2013), amongst a plethora of music festivals and other events (a far cry from his early years earning beer tokens doing security in the student union at Sheffield Hallam University!). Since joining Loud Sound in 2016, Steve has been the Operations Director at All Points East, Common People (Oxford) and Carnival 56, Event Operations Director at BST Hyde Park, Event Manager at Camp Bestival, Bestival and Demon Dayz to name but a few. Steve’s broad reaching experience across a wide cross section of events and ability to remain calm under pressure, even in the most challenging of situations, enables him to lead the dynamic team at Loud Sound across a multitude of projects
