
American Express presents BST Hyde Park

LS Events is privileged to work alongside AEG Presents and The Royal Parks to produce the award-winning festival “BST Hyde Park” since 2013, a landmark event spanning 3 weeks with nine 65,000 capacity concerts and a free midweek programme of entertainment.
Some of the most legendary acts in modern history, including Adele, the Rolling Stones and Elton John, have headlined at the event. They perform on the iconic Great Oak Stage - an innovative and instantly recognisable design that embraces its location, bringing the beautiful backdrop of Hyde Park to the forefront.






BST Hyde Park is a classic example of how LS Events has integrated the requirement for high-spec and engaging creative content, alongside impeccable customer service, in a greenfield location.
Working with AEG Presents, LS Events has developed the Hyde Park concert concept to become a go-to destination where fans not only spend an extended period of time, but commercial revenues are driven to maximise yield per square metre, using the latest technology to support crowd movement around the site.
Utilising Crowd Connected, a system that integrates into the BST app and provides geolocation data on customer behaviour and experience. It provides location software for mobile tracking, engagement and analytics. From its analytics we can assess crowd behaviour to help elevate the customer experience. We can assess dwell time at bars, merchandise, stages etc.
Drawing on our tried and tested project management tools, we successfully execute:
Management of a robust Project Plan for all project deliverables;
Coordination of planning meetings with AEG Presents and The Royal Parks;
Stakeholder management with multiple stakeholders including public bodies;
Liaison and management of the Safety Advisory Group (SAG);
Budget management and financial control including monitoring expenditure against budgets and initiating corrective actions as required in consultation with the client;
Licensing and event contract management;
Creation and management of a robust Event Management Plan (EMP);
Document control management defined by our ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Delivering this event with the Royal Parks tests our relationships with our trusted supply chain during a complex build in a protected green space. The highest possible standards are expected and delivered, with regular communication to site teams and contractors while ensuring stakeholders are kept abreast of progress. Careful coordination of delivery partners during design and build phases allows for a high impact, fan-focussed site.

We have implemented a pioneering Event Sustainability Management Plan, reducing carbon emissions by 92%, from 304.49Co2e in 2018 to 22.75Co2e.
Our energy comes from 100% renewable sources and we send zero waste to landfill. We are proud to have achieved our ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), establishing us as a market leader in sustainability initiatives.
Our sustainability efforts at BST Hyde Park have earned multiple awards from A Greener Future, including the Greener Innovations, Greener Power, Water & Sanitation, and Community Action Awards.
Since 2019, BST Hyde Park has been awarded Gold Status for Attitude is Everything’s Charter of Best Practice.
